Tobacco Free Florida’s “Group Quit” Now Offers Incentive Gift Cards for Participants
For a limited time only, gift cards are available to participants who attend in-person or virtual Group Quit sessions.
Tobacco Free Florida’s AHEC Cessation Program “Group Quit” now offers gift cards as an incentive for tobacco users to attend a Group Quit session in-person or virtually. Each session is led by a trained cessation counselor and upon completion of the Group Quit session, participants are eligible to receive $25 – $125 in gift cards along with free nicotine replacement therapies such as gum, patches or lozenges, while supplies last.
Group Quit Options:
Option 1: Single session 2-hour group. Attendees will receive two $25 gift cards at the end of the session.
Option 2: Multi session group (meeting once a week for 4 weeks). Attendees will receive a $25 gift card for each session they attend. If they attend all four sessions, they will receive an additional $25 gift card at the completion of the fourth session–bringing the total possible incentive to $125.
The Group Quit incentives will be offered in all 67 Florida counties, for courses that start between January 1 – June 30, 2026.
Tobacco cessation services are provided to all Floridians completely free and regardless of insurance status. In addition to online and in-person Group Quit, Tobacco Free Florida offers Quit Your Way tools and services including Phone Quit, Web Quit. The services are audited for effectiveness and can be used individually or in combination.
